Dear Camp Families,
Welcome to Powhatan School Summer Camp!

GENERAL INFORMATION:

Camp runs from 9:00AM-3:30PM.

WHAT TO BRING:

  • Snack and Lunch daily
  • Labeled water bottle
  • *Labeled Sunscreen

*Campers may bring their own sunscreen labeled with their name, packaged in the original packaging, and with written parent authorization for use and a notation of any known adverse reactions with use.  Powhatan School Summer Camp does not provide sunscreen for campers.

Arrival:

Campers should arrive to Powhatan no earlier than 8:45AM. Please use the main entrance to the school and drop your camper off in front of the administration building, where they will be greeted by Summer Camp Staff.

PLEASE CALL THE SCHOOL OFFICE (540.837.1009) IF YOUR CAMPER WILL BE LATE OR ABSENT FROM CAMP.

DISMISSAL:

Please advise us of any changes in transportation.  We will not send your child with another parent without your permission.  Dismissal will take place in front of the administration building where your child was dropped off in the morning.  Campers will remain on the porch until called to their car.  We will load cars as quickly as possible; your patience is appreciated.


AFTER CARE: 

Campers may remain with us until 5:30PM.  Pick up will be at the playground.  If the weather is inclement, we will be in the library.

BUS SERVICE:

Bus transportation will be determined by the number of registrants requesting the service.

CAMP FEE:

$300.00 per week

ADDITIONAL FEES:

After Camp Care:  $75.00 per week
Bus Service:  TBD


CANCELLATION POLICY:

Cancellations made from 26 January 2019 – 1 May 2019 will receive a full refund minus a $30.00 processing fee. Cancellations made from 2 May 2019 -2 June 2019 will receive a 50% refund minus a $30.00 processing fee.  No refunds will be issued after 2 June 2019.
